Question by onamission: White windows with beige border on green house…where do I hang my black shutters?
I need to know the best length for, and at what point to hang my black shutters….do they go directly beside the windows or beside the border. The border is wide and beige. Windows are white. This part of house is sided with green siding. Part of the house is brick with black shutters next to the windows. (That part has no border.)

I’m assuming the shutters are strictly for decorative purpose? If so, they would go on the outer edge side of your window trim ( or border, as you called it). The shutters should be the same length as your window frames. Take measurements of you windows & purchase them accordingly. When hanging them, they should be totally even with your window frames … NOT the trim, but the windows themselves. Hope this makes sense to you… I’m not exactly sure how to explain it.
