How do we counter the green house effect?

Question by Universe_watcher: How do we counter the green house effect?
Due to the green house effect, global warming will prevail for a long period of time. The rising of the temperature incubates fierce weathers such as typhoons, tornados, and hurricanes, and gradually melts the polar ice-cap. The melted ice leads to a higher sea level and therefore endangers the inhabitability of the shore.

Green-house effect is generally attributed to the large amount of carbon dioxide in air. The carbon dioxide , which is largely the burnt fossil fuel , traps the long-wave light and makes the earth warmer. Agreements have been signed to control the consumption of the fossil fuel.

On the other hand, forests efficiently absorb carbon dioxide. Should other agreements be reached to force people to plant more trees on lands and to immediately stop over-felling around the world?

We don’t need to counter the greenhouse effect. Global warming is caused by the Sun, not by anything that we are doing. and we cannot prevent it. We need to make realistic plans to move our cities inland, not to waste time trying to prevent it.

Attributing global warming to human causes is political hype, exploited by unscrupulous people who want to gain fame without having to do anything to earn it and influence without being responsible to anybody in their use of it.
